For example, when I needed a total of nine cups chopped onion for the week the list told me I needed nine onions. The grocery list automatically assumes 1 cup of an ingredient is one piece ingredient. Frustrating because my tomatoes come in cans. Or if I need two 28oz cans of diced tomatoes there's no way to list it like that - instead it adds 28oz and 28oz and tells me I need 3.5lbs. Also, the way it compiles items on the grocery list isn't always useful. The formatting for personal recipes is borked in the phone app. That would be helpful as the only way to add to your prep list is a little box at the bottom. I've noticed it doesn't always catch all the prep that could be done, and when adding your own recipe there is no option to add things to your prep list. I like that I can have it tell me what prep to do. The recipes are good if you increase spices. I have a three month subscription to the meal planner.
